Important Reminders for the 2020 ECLC Summer Institute
We will begin at 8:30am with Opening Circle and close at 2:45-3:00pm with Closing Circle each day of Summer Institute.
Please hover over your Zoom username and select the option to rename yourself. Please make sure it includes whatever you would like to be called, and an abbreviation of your DISTRICT name so that we know where you are representing. This is especially important for some breakout groups.
In your workshop, please mute yourself if you are not speaking to cut down on background noise.
So that microphones can stay muted, please demonstrate your appreciation to presenters using what American Sign Language calls “Jazz Hands” in lieu of applause.
Before the end of each day, we will be playing a quick trivia game and giving away four door prizes to folks, so please hang in with us each day and stay tuned for all the fun!
Each workshop that you attend will be supported by an expert facilitator, whose contact information will be given to you in case of an emergency at the top of each session.
At the end of each workshop, you will be asked to fill out a brief poll to help us evaluate the workshop you attended.
In addition to the individual polls you complete at the end of each workshop you attend, we will be doing an evaluation survey of the whole-day’s content for each day of the three days of the Summer Institute. When you receive the survey, we ask that you please fill it out immediately so that we capture your thoughts/impressions while they are fresh.
During Team Time on Days 1-2, you will be asked to complete brief structured activities within your teams to help you plan
On Day 3, you will have opportunities for open Team Time and Clinic Time. Individual workshops will also be available: one in the morning, another in the afternoon
